KC-97 Stratofreighter

The KC-97 is a 4-engine tank airplane, develoiped from the C-97. In 1964 some of the KC-97's were equipped with 2 additional jet engines to increase speed. These KC-97's were designated as KC-97L. The KC-97 is replaced by the KC-135.
